A trusted contact can help safeguard your well-being and financial interests by serving as a point of communication if any unusual activity is noticed in your accounts. If we are not able to reach you or we see suspicious account activity, this is someone we could contact to check on you.
In order to give another person this access, you can fill out a form to designate one or more people as a “Trusted Contact Person” (TCP) on your accounts.
Naming someone a TCP does not allow that person to transact business on your behalf, nor to receive your confidential information regarding account holdings, such as account numbers, values, balances, etc.
While optional, adding a trusted contact is a smart step to protect against potential issues and ensure someone reliable is looking out for you.
