Sequoia Financial Strategies is seeking an Associate Financial Professional to join a successful Financial Advisor’s practice in the Morristown, NJ area.
We are looking for a team-oriented associate advisor with strong communication skills and a focus on long-term client relationships. The successful candidate will be mentored by a veteran advisor and will assist in all aspects of the practice, including direct client contact and advice. Long-term, this could be a substantial succession plan opportunity. A base income will be provided as well as an opportunity to increase income through your sales efforts.
Responsibilities
A successful candidate can expect to be responsible for the following:
- Directly communicate with clients via technology and daytime worksite meetings
- Assist with data collection and plan input
- Prepare, analyze and present financial plans
- Research and present solutions for
retirement, investment, and insurance scenarios - Facilitate execution and follow-up after meetings
- Investment portfolio analysis and review
- Review insurance needs and provides quotes
Qualifications
- Positive attitude and extraordinary client service skills
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 1 + years of financial services sales experience
- Securities registered
- NJ state insurance license
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Superior accuracy and high attention to detail
- Strong analytical/critical thinking skills
- Desire to build a book and be your own boss
